Twinkle, twinkle little quilt...

What an incredibly sappy title! Oh well. It all stems from my excitement at finishing Twinkle. As I was quilting it, I decided to take the border fabric off. To quote my youngest, "It just doesn't seem like you." Does that mean that she differentiates people based on whether would add a border to a quilt or wouldn't. No matter. According to her, I'm not a border-on-the-quilt-type and that's all there is to it.

You know what, I wouldn't have thought it from seeing the original top, but I like it much better this way. Beautiful!

Yeah, I kind of had my heart set on a border, but it just didn't look right. I also like it much better this way.

LOL, I'm not a border-on-the-quilt kind of gal either! And, yes, we exist!! I have put them on quilts, probably more often than not, but I really would rather them not be there.
